An Act relative to the sale of mattresses.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 273 of chapter 94 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding after line 41 the following line:

No manufacturer, dealer or distributor shall sell a new mattress without a mattress encasement, certified to withstand any bugs or insects.
