An Act regulating conduct at polling places..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 65 of Chapter 54 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding, after the first paragraph, the following paragraph:—    No rule, regulation or provision of law shall prohibit a candidate on the current election ballot from greeting voters and soliciting votes within 150 feet of the entrance door to the building where a polling place is located, provided that he/she is not distributing campaign material nor obstructing voters entering the polls.
