An act regulating residential paving.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 142A of the general laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the definition “residential contracting” and inserting in place thereof the following definition:-
“Residential Contracting”, the reconstruction, alteration, renovation, repair, modernization, conversion, improvement, removal, or demolition, or the construction of an addition to any pre-existing owner occupied building containing at least one but not more than four dwelling units, which building or portion thereof is used or designed to be used as a residence or dwelling unit, to structures which are adjacent to such residence or building or the application of any paving material on a ground surface of the property of such residence from or adjacent to an area accessible to the property from a public or private way.
