By Mr. Rosa of Leominster (by request), petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 116) of Dean Mazzarella and others (with approval of the mayor and the city council) that the town of Leominster be authorized to issue one additional license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises. Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure.

An Act authorizing the city of Leominster to grant one (1) additional all alcohol pouring license for downtown revitalization.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1.  Notwithstanding Section 17 of Chapter 138 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the licensing authority of the City of Leominster may grant one (1) additional license for the sale of alcoholic beverages tp be drunk on the premises under Section 12 said Chapter 138.  The license shall be subject to all of Chapter 138, except for Section 17.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
