An Act relative to the public use of the Commonwealth's aqueducts.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. Chapter 372 of the acts of 1984 is hereby amended by inserting after section 73 the following section:-

Section 74. Unless the board of directors of the Authority votes to prohibit access on a particular area for security reasons, all aqueducts owned by the Commonwealth may be used by the public for passive recreation. Such use shall not be subject to a charge or fee.  No motorized vehicles will be allowed on the aqueducts.  The Authority and the Commonwealth shall be protected from liability under section 17C of chapter 21.
