An Act prohibiting minors from handling alcoholic beverages.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 34 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended in the first paragraph, by striking out the last sentence and inserting in place thereof the following:-
No person under the age of 18 shall handle any alcohol or alcohol container, opened, unopened, for any purpose including stocking, bagging and accepting and returning recyclable materials.
SECTION 2. Section 64 of said chapter 138, as so appearing, is hereby amended in the first paragraph, by inserting after the first sentence, the following sentence:-
In the instance that the licensee’s retail sale location is attached to or a part of another commercial activity at that location, the above remedies shall be applied to those premises also.
