An Act relative to 40B deed transfers.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   The fifth paragraph of section 31 of chapter 184 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the 1 st sentence, the following sentence:-Subsequent to the transfer or selling of a low income housing unit from one owner to another, said unit shall remain as low income housing regardless of the new owner’s income status.
