An Act providing for the enforcement of child abuse reporting requirements.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Chapter 119 § 51A of the 2004 Official Edition of the General Laws is hereby amended in line 46 by striking out the words “one thousand dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words: “twenty-five thousand dollars or by imprisonment in the House of Corrections for not more than two and one half years, or both such fine and imprisonment.”

SECTION 2.  Chapter 119 § 51A of the General Laws is hereby amended in line 48 by striking out the words “one thousand dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words: “twenty-five thousand dollars or by imprisonment in the House of Corrections for not more than two and one half years, or both such fine and imprisonment.”
