An Act relative to substance abuse treatment.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 9A of chapter 118E of the General Laws as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after clause 16, the following clause:-

(17) Persons with a medical diagnosis of opiate addiction shall be MassHealth eligible for coverage of treatment including, but not limited to, opiate blocker implants.
