An Act relative to protecting municipalities.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 7N of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding, in line 23, after the word “buyer”, the following:

“or motor vehicles purchased by any municipality in the commonwealth to be used exclusively for municipal purposes”.

SECTION 2. Section 7N¼  of said chapter 90 is hereby amended by inserting, in line 20, after the word “manufacturer,” the following:

“including motor vehicles purchased by any municipality in the commonwealth to be used exclusively for municipal purposes,”.

SECTION 3. Section 7N½ of said chapter 90 is hereby amended by inserting, in line 22, after the word “section,” the following:

“including motor vehicles purchased by any municipality in the commonwealth to be used exclusively for municipal purposes,”.
