An Act amending the charter of the town of Westborough.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3-3(d) of article 3 of the charter of the town of Westborough, which is on file in the office of the archivist of the commonwealth, as provided in section 12 of chapter 43B of the General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out the words “all members of the Personnel Board, ”.
SECTION 2. Section 4-2 of article 4 of said charter is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
(17) The town manager shall have the authority to sign payroll and accounts payable warrants concerning the everyday operation of the town in accordance with the provisions of section 56 of chapter 41 of the General Laws.
SECTION 3. Section 5-2(d) of article 5 of said charter is hereby amended by adding the following to appointments by the town manager with the concurrence of the board of selectmen:-
