In the Year Two Thousand Eleven

An Act authorizing the Revere School Department to be open on Suffolk County holidays.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the School Department in the City of Revere may, upon affirmative vote of the Revere School Committee, be open for business for all purposes, including the instruction of students in classrooms, on March 17th (Evacuation Day) and June 17th (Bunker Hill Day) of any school year.
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
