An Act relative to the removal or transportation of trash.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to allow for the placement of time restrictions on the removal or transportation of trash, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 31A of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in lines 4-6, the following words “; provided, however, that no rules or regulations shall restrict the hours of the day when garbage, offal or other offensive substances may be collected in areas zoned for business, commercial or industrial use”.
