An Act relative to bidding for public construction contracts.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Subsection 2 of chapter 44D of chapter 149 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the last sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:

An application for a certificate of eligibility and update statements shall be public record as defined in section 7 of chapter 4 except that financial information contained in the application shall not be a public record.

SECTION 2.   The first paragraph of subsection 12 of said section 44D of said chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the last sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:

Applications for a certificate of eligibility and update statements shall be public record as defined in section 7 of chapter 4 except that financial information contained in the application shall not be a public record.
