An Act relative to sex offender information online.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 178D of chapter 6 of the General Laws, as most recently amended by section 39 of chapter 256 of the acts of 2010, is hereby further amended in the first sentence of the second paragraph after the words “subsections (i) to”, by striking the figure “(viii)” and inserting in place thereof (ix).

SECTION 2. Chapter 178D of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking subsections (iv) through (viii), inclusive, and inserting in place thereof the following subsections:

(iv) any institution of higher learning in which the offender is enrolled as a part-time or full-time student;

(v)the offense for which the offender was convicted or adjudicated and the date of the conviction or adjudication;

(vi) the sex offender's age, sex, race, height, weight, eye and hair color;

(vii) a photograph of the sex offender;

(viii) whether the sex offender has been designated a sexually violent predator; and

(ix) whether the offender is in compliance with the registration obligations of sections 178C to 178P, inclusive.
