An Act to implement full-day kindergarten.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1B of chapter 69 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the words contained in paragraph 20, and inserting in place thereof the following:
The board shall establish the permissible and mandatory ages for school attendance provided that each child be required to attend a full-day educational program at kindergarten age.
SECTION 2. Section 1 of chapter 76 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition is hereby amended, by inserting in line 2, after the word, “education”, the following:
“any child enrolled in full-day kindergarten”.
