An Act relative to locking school doors.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 69 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following section:-
Section 38. Every public school shall lock all exterior school building doors from the inside, except the main entrance, at all times, during school business hours; provided, further, that all doors, except the main entrance, shall remain closed during school business hours and shall not be accessible for entry from the outside.
