An Act relative to non-public school student access to the MCAS exam.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 1I of Chapter 69 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the 12th paragraph the following paragraph:— A student in a non-public school in the Commonwealth may elect to take MCAS exam. The cost of administering the exam to such students shall be borne by the student.
