An Act relative to Chapter 32, Section 91A waivers.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 91A of Chapter 32, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 9, by inserting after the word “commission”, the following words:-

, provided, however, that the commission may waive such filing by a member, if said member shall have been retired for more than twenty years, and has not reported any earnings for the prior ten years and also signs an affidavit under the pains and penalties of perjury indicating that should he/she realize any earned income in the future that they will forthwith notify the commission of that fact and again report under this Section.
