SECTION 1. Section 17B of chapter 130 of the general laws, as appearing in the 2006 official edition, is hereby amended by inserting, at the end thereof the following:-
“; provided further that the holder of a propagation permit, so-called, shall not be required to possess a commercial permit as provided by section 80 and shall further be allowed to sell shellfish grown under such permit at a farmers market registered by the department of agricultural resources”
SECTION 2. Section 80 of said chapter 130, as so appearing, is hereby amended, in line 14, by inserting after the words “shellfish or marine worms” the following:-
“or unless he is the holder of an aquaculture propagation permit as provided in section 17B”.
SECTION 3. Said section 80 of said chapter 130, as so appearing, is hereby amended, in line 28, by inserting after the words “shall be exempt from obtaining a wholesale dealer permit;” the following:-
“ ;and provided further that the holder of an aquaculture propagation permit as provided by section 17B shall be exempt from obtaining a wholesale dealer permit;”
SECTION 4. Said section 80 of said chapter 130, as so appearing, is hereby further amended, in line 36, by inserting after the words “named on the permit;” the following:-
“;provided further that the holder of an aquaculture propagation permit as provided by section 17B shall be permitted to sell shellfish grown under such permit at a farmers market that is registered by the department of agricultural resources;”
