An Act relative to furthering community preservation..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 7 of chapter 44B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in line 11, the word “and”, and inserting after the words “Preservation Fund” in line 13, the following new words:-

“; and (d) all funds received from public and private sources as gifts, grants, and donations to further community preservation.”.

SECTION 2. Section 10 of said chapter 44B, is hereby amended by adding, in line 9, after the word “applied” the following new words:-

“, as well as the amount the municipality has raised through public and private gifts, grants, and donations”.

SECTION 3. Section 10 of said chapter 44B, is hereby amended by adding, in line 16, after the word “town” the following new words:-

“plus the total amount of public and private gifts, grants, and donations to the community preservation fund”.
