An Act to permit the setting of both cash bail and pretrial conditions in domestic violence matters.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 42A of Chapter 276 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2008 official edition is hereby amended in line 7, after the words “terms of” by inserting the following:-

“bail or”.  

SECTION 2. Section 58B of said chapter 276 is hereby amended in line 2 after the words “pursuant to” by inserting the following:-

“section 42A or”.  

SECTION 3. Section 58B of said chapter 276 is hereby further amended in line 2 after the words “section 58A”; by inserting the following:-

“or section 87”.
