An Act relative to defibrillators in health clubs.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 86 of Chapter 93 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the following words:
“Absent a showing of gross negligence or willful or wanton misconduct, no cause of action against a health club or its employees may arise in connection with the use or non-use of a defibrillator.”
