An Act relative to portable medical records.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Health providers shall provide access to medical records to allow for Portable Health Records. Portable Health Records are an extension of the Electronic Health Reocords, EHR, one that patients can have access to and take with them (physically or virtually) to health care providers of their choosing or as so directed by their health care advisor.Regulations shall be set by the Department of Public Health.
