An Act relative to retirement groups.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, if a member is originally classified as Group 1, as enumerated in paragraph (g) of subdivision (2) of section 3 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, that member must spend no less than 10 years in Groups 2, 3 or 4 to receive the benefits for the purposes of retirement, including superannuation retirement, allotted to this group.
