An Act regarding pension ratio of the funding system.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1.        Sub-division (8) of section 22 of Chapter 32 of the General Laws in the 2008 Official Edition as most recently amended by Chapter 68 of the Acts of 2007 is amended in sub-subsection (c1/2) by deleting in the third sentence of the first paragraph after the words:

    … a funded ratio of less than…   the words sixty-five percent

and inserting the words:   ….fifty percent

Section 2.    Section (3) of Chapter 68 of the Acts of 2007 is amended in the third sentence by deleting after the words:

    …a funded ratio of less than….     the words sixty-five percent

and inserting the words:      …fifty percent
