An Act relative to fire investigation units and arson units for investigators in municipal police departments.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 94B of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “department” in line 5 the following:- “or a member of the municipal police department assigned to a fire investigation unit or arson unit to investigate fire in a municipality which has 100 or more fires annually.”
