An Act granting credible service Janice Natale and Linda Natale.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the teachers’ retirement system shall credit Janice Natale with creditable service for 4 years for service she rendered to the Salem State College’s Learning Center Summer Program from 1983 to 2008 for the purpose of determining his superannuation retirement allowance under chapter 32 of the General Laws. Before the date any retirement allowance becomes effect in the case of Janice Natale, she shall pay into the teachers’ retirement system in 1 sum of installments, upon such terms and conditions as the system may prescribe, an amount equal to that which would have been withheld as regular deductions from her regular compensation for such service, plus interest.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the state board of retirement shall credit Linda Natale with creditable service for 4 years for service she rendered to Salem State College’s Learning Center from 1983 to May 2009 for the purpose of determing his superannuation retirement allowance under chapter 32 of the General Laws. Before the date of any retirement becomes effective in the case of Linda Natale, she shall pay into the state retirement system in 1 sum or installments, upon sick terms and conditions as the board may prescribe an amount equal to that which would have been withheld as regular deductions from her regular compensation for such service, plus interest.
