An Act relative to tax deductions for student loans.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Subsection (B 12) of Section 3 of Chapter 62 of the general laws is hereby amended by inserting between the words “interest payments” and “paid by the taxpayer” in line 1, the following:
“and an amount no greater than $1,000 on principal payments”
