In the Year Two Thousand Eleven

An Act relative to the annual observance of Green Up Day.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 6 if the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15GGGGG the following section:
"Section 15HHHH. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the first Saturday in May as Green Up Day in recognition of our duty to protect the environment and recommending that the day be observed in an appropriate manner by people. "
