An Act relative to credit card users providing photo ID.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 93 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 105 the following section:-
Section 105A. Notwithstanding section 105, a person, firm, partnership, corporation or other business entity that accepts a credit card for a business transaction must require a photo I.D. as a requirement of the business transaction. For the purposes of this section credit card shall include a debit card.
