An Act relative to real property owners.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 184 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following section:- 

SECTION 36.  Any grantee of real property on record who does not reside on said property shall provide the city or town where the property is located with their current name, address and phone number. The city or town shall maintain a record of the name, current address and phone number of such owners, which shall be open to public inspection. Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section after being so notified shall be punished by a fine of not more than $50.
