In the Year Two Thousand Eleven

An Act relative to shared custody of children.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, written and mutual consent of each of the divorced parents who have shared physical custody of their children shall be required for the children to be allowed to participate with either or both parents in indoor and outdoor activities deemed hazardous by a reasonable person’s standard.  Hazardous activities include, but shall not be limited to, hunting, motor cross and shooting or participating at an event at a gun range.
