An Act relative to food service establishments.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 127A of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after the 1st paragraph, the following paragraph:-
The department shall adopt public health regulations that require those establishments engaged in the “take out” food service business, which do not have a restroom accessible to the general public, to install a sink on their premises for the purpose of hand washing; provided, however, that the food service business may install, in the alternative, an acceptable hand sanitizer for the use by its patrons and employees.
