An Act to increase the number of primary care providers in Massachusetts.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The Commonwealth shall provide tuition free medical education and living wage to students enrolled at UMass Medical, who agree to work as primary care physicians in Massachusetts, for nine years after receiving their medical license. The regulations concerning this section shall be enacted by the Commissioner of Public Health.
