An Act making senior citizen property tax relief more equitable.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Paragraph (3)(i) of subsection (K) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “$600,000” and replacing it with “the median value of residential property of the town as determined by the Assessor on January first of each year ”.
