An Act relative to affiliate transfers..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 193P of chapter 175 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new paragraph: -
Nothing in this section shall be construed to require notice if an insurer within the same group of insurers issues or offers to issue a succeeding policy to the insured.
SECTION 2. Section 113F of chapter 175 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 47 after the word “company.” the following new paragraph: -
Nothing in this section shall be construed to require notice if an insurer within the same group of insurers issues or offers to issue a succeeding policy to the insured.
