In the Year Two Thousand Eleven

An Act Relative to Parking Facilities.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, the office of consumer affairs and business regulations shall promulgate regulations requiring all parking facilities, including intermodal parking facilities and garages, to display prominently at the entrance of such a facility the following:
a)hourly parking rates
b)formulas by which final price of parking is calculated
SECTION 2. The office of consumer affairs and business regulations shall issue instructions or forms, or promulgate rules or regulations, necessary for the implementation of this act.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect within 90 days after its passage.
