An Act directing certain payments to cities and towns by the Massport authority.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massport authority is hereby directed and authorized to dispense all revenues generated from fines due to violations of nighttime operations rules as established by the Logan International airport Noise Abatement Rules and Regulations, in equal shares to the following city and towns: Quincy, Weymouth, Cohasset, Hingham, Hull, and Scituate. Said communities may use these funds in any airport impact related activity approved by their local authorities.
