An Act relative to certain exotic pets.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The director of the division of fisheries and wildlife is hereby directed to provide that sugar gliders are a species which are exempt from the licensing provisions of section 23 of chapter 131 of the General Laws and may be imported, possessed, maintained, propagated, bought, sold, exchanged or offered for sale without a license or permit from the division.
