An Act relative to utility poles.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 34B of chapter 164 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “pole”, in line 9, the words:- ; provided, further that said distribution company or a telephone company shall not support a utility pole with another pole unless an emergency situation exists; and provided, further, that if another pole is used for support, such pole shall be removed not later than 14 days from the date of installation.
