An act relative to funeral processions.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Subsection (b) of section 14A of chapter 85 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out paragraph (3) and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:-
(3) A vehicle being operated in any funeral procession shall have its headlights and taillights illuminated, and shall have a 12" x 12" purple placard, flag or other reasonably noticeable device above the vehicle's roof-line, either on the roof itself or protruding from the vehicle's window on a rod, to indicate that the vehicle is part of the funeral procession.
