An act relative to counting manufactured homes as affordable housing.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 40B of the general laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 20 the following section:-

Section 20A.  All manufactured homes, as defined in section 32Q of chapter 140, in a manufactured housing community, as defined in section 32F of chapter 140, located within a city or town shall be included as low or moderate income housing for the purposes of sections 20 to 23, inclusive, toward a city or town’s count of housing units.
