An Act relative to procurement of goods and services within the Commonwealth.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 22 of chapter 7 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 150, the words “inviting such requests” and inserting the following words:— signifying the start of an open enrollment period of 6 months
SECTION 2. The third paragraph of clause (20) of said section 22 of said chapter 7, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the first sentence the following sentence:-:— During the open enrollment period, the state purchasing agent shall accept all new persons desiring to bid as well as re-certify all persons who had previously expressed such a desire either prior to the commencement of an open enrollment period or in previous open enrollment periods once the state purchasing agent has implemented the open enrollment period.
