An Act relative to public housing authorities.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. Section 29 of chapter 121B is hereby amended by striking the second paragraph and inserting in its place thereof the following section:-

In the development or administration of a project which is not federally aided, a housing authority shall determine the rates of wages and fees, and payments to health and welfare plans to be paid to laborers and mechanics or similar classifications of employment prevalent in the city of town in which said housing authority is organized.
