An Act validating the actions taken at certain elections held in the town of Abington.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 10 of chapter 39 or section 64 of chapter 54 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law or town charter provision or by-law to the contrary, all acts and proceedings taken by the town of Abington at its annual town elections held on April 6, 2002, April 26, 2008, April 24, 2010, and April 30, 2011, and all actions taken pursuant thereto, are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed to the same extent as if the full text of the ballot questions voted at such elections had been included in the warrants therefor.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
