An Act authorizing the town of Topsfield to convey certain conservation land.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1.  The conservation commission of the town of Topsfield may transfer care, custody and control of a certain parcel of conservation land located in said town to the board of selectman of said town.  Said parcel is shown as Parcel A on a plan of land entitled "Plan of Land in Topsfield, Mass. prepared for Brigitte and Timothy O'Malley and the Town of Topsfield Showing Parcels A & B" dated April 20, 2011 prepared The Neve-Morin Group, Inc., a copy of which is on file at the office of the board of selectman of said town.

Section 2.  The Town of Topsfield, acting by and through its board of selectman, may convey the parcel of conservation land described in section 1 to Brigitte and Timothy O'Malley to be used for personal purposes.

Section 3. In consideration and as a condition of the conveyance authorized in section 2, Brigitte & Timothy O'Malley shall convey to the town of Topsfield, to be held in the care custody and control of the conservation commission for conservation purposes, a certain parcel of land shown as Parcel B on a plan of land entitled "Plan of Land in Topsfield, Mass. prepared for Brigitte and Timothy O'Malley and the Town of Topsfield Showing Parcels A & B" dated April 20, 2011 prepared The Neve-Morin Group, Inc.

Section 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
