AN ACT RELATIVE TO CREDITABLE SERVICE FOR RETIREMENT TO NON-WORKING MEMBERS OF THE RESERVE POLICE FORCE IN THE CITY OF MALDEN.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, no employee of the city of Malden who is a member of the reserve police force shall be granted creditable service by the city toward retirement for time served as a member of said force; provided, however, that the city of Malden shall grant creditable service toward retirement to an employee who is a member of the reserve police force for work actually performed as a member of said force.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
