An Act relative to the licensing of real estate appraisers.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Subsection B 184 of chapter 112 of the General Laws, as so appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after clause (2), the following clause:—
(3) Any person who held a current, valid certificate or license who was unable to comply with the board of registration of real estate appraisers requirement that the uniform standards of professional appraisal practice update course be taken within 24 months of licensing and who was also fined $500 and who attended the update course within 2 calendar years of licensing or a previous attendance at the update course shall have any filing of this information expunged from the person’s record and shall be reimbursed by the board any portion of the $500 fine that was paid by said person immediately.
