An Act to mandate CORI evaluations for foster parents.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, each time a child is placed in foster care by the department of children and families, the department shall conduct a C.O.R.I. investigation of the foster parents and provide the report to the district court in which the foster home is located within 30 days of the placement.
